August 6, 2009 Sports Betting Advances in DE: A high-ranking judge has denied a request by the major pro sports leagues and the NCAA for a preliminary injunction against the state of Delaware and its plans to institute sports betting. The denial is considered a major step toward making betting a reality, possibly in place by the start of this year's NFL season.
