Knowing all that, HOW ABOUT SOME PITCHING HELP THEO?!?!

I know I have said this time and time again, but even if he could have gottent an effective 4 or 5 starter for Buchholz, he should have done it...his value will ony go down IMO.

True, but perhaps a week ago it was felt that at the very least Wakefield might return sooner, no?
I will admit that as much as I don't like to second guess, it would have been great to somehow get Halladay to Boston-that would change the entire complexion of things.
Now that they have dropped two in Tampa, this series eith the Yankees is HUGE.
Needless to say, the Yankees want revenge.
If Sox ever get swept here and go 6 1/2 games out, first place will be a distant dream and depending on what Tampa and the other Wild Card contenders do, it could put that in serious jeopardy also.
