Hell, Pete Carroll would tell you those 2 games cost them 2 trips to a Title game. Right or wrong, what's so hard to understand about that?

honestly they probably do to some degree.

and losing at home to stanford is much different than losing to a pretty good arkansas in 3OT.

and im not trying to pile on, although not a fan i do like the USC program

USC loses to Oregon St. AT Oregon St. (-24)

Florida loses to Ole Miss AT FLORIDA (-24)

Go ahead, defend that one Wayne.

Nothing at all, there's a double standard for the Pac-10 and the SEC is my point. Sometimes I think you don't even read what other people say.

last year (not including bcs game) florida beat 5 reams ranked at the time. 3 of which ranked in top 6 in the country by a COMBINED 80 points.

            usc beat 3 ranked teams.

florida best win neutral site over number 1 alabama.

They each lost one game, and USC had a damn good non-conf. schedule. They won every game except won, and they one by 30+ ppg. They were not just beating the teams they played, they were embarassing them. They set up a good schedule, they beat all but one good team, and Florida does virtually the same. Now again it comes down to the conferences, and they get punished for playing in an inferior one.

It's just stupid. If you looked at non-conf. schedule and all W-L records, USC is a far better team than anyone else last year. But because they are stuck in the Pac-10 they get little respect. I understand it, just think it's idiotic.

problem is that the conf champ game can help you (just ask big 10) as it can hurt you!
Just as an FYI: Per NCAA rules you have to have at least 12 teams in the conference to have a champ game.

And the Big 11 should add one team like, oh, say, the Bearcats of Cincy!

Keep making the point about title games, it's already been addressed, but yeah, things aren't sinking in for me. I don't know what it is.
