Last year was the 1st time in 14 years that they didn't win the AL East. They are where they have been for 14 of the last 15 years now. It's not that complicated when you have over 200 million to spend. It does make it a little easier every year!

Boston won it in 07' and TB in 08' but the Yankees won 12 or 13 straight before that!
