  • Tim Tebow Not the Best QB in the SEC

Just heard on the radio that 1 coach{not yet identified} did not vote for Tebow for preseason all SEC . First off let me say I am not a Tebow lover, but he is a very good if not great college qb. His stats are unbelievable and he does it against prob the best conference in college football. How does someone not vote for him. I didnt hear who the vote went to, anyone have any ideas? Possibly the kid from Ole Miss, named Snead? Is there anyone that is reading this that thinks he is not the best qb in the SEC? Just wondering what others thought about this

All but three coaches have said they voted for Tebow at the SEC conference preseason meetings going on this week. The 3 that haven't said one way or another are Les Miles of LSU, Steve Spurrier of South Carolina, and don't quote me on the 3rd one, but I think it was Bobby Petrino of Arkansas.

I'd say it was Miles imo.

If one of the coaches went in to the vote with the attitude of who stands the best chance to be a QB in the NFL then I could see how they vote for someone else.Tim Tebow is the next Danny Wuerfful.A great guy who was good in college but just don't have the talent for the NFL.Is Tebow a great person---YES. Is Tebow a leader-----YES. Is Tebow a great QB----NO!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry but he is not going to be a NFL QB IMO

On the Dan Patrick show today they were all guessing 'Ole Miss because of Snead.

Tebow was interviewed and asked about if he thought it was 'Ole Miss because they did lose to them last year and he laughed and said maybe. Asked if he wanted revenge he said it would be nice but we don't play them this year!

I was thinking Charlie Ward because of the running ability!

Hey, If i'm Houston Nutt, i would vote Snead too. You went in to the swamp and won with that kid and he looked pretty damn good in the Cotton Bowl too. Why not?

The coaches can not vote for their own kids. So to be unanimous, it only takes 11 votes. Tebow had 10, Snead had 2.

Coaches can't vote for their own player.

Really? Why the hell did they spend the whole day talking about it than?

Meyer voted for Snead and someone beside Nutt did. My guess would be Kiffin.

                            Doesn't Kiffin hate UF?

Becuase TWO people didn't vote for Tebow. One being Meyer, his own coach and one being someone else.
