my guess is prob just a day off, since they are playing the Nats prob figured they could win without him

They pretty much schedule him a day off a month. He will never ask to sit out. They have to force him and pick their spots to do it. They do have a lot of days off in August and September. Might be his last day off.

Aren't the Cards playing in Philadelphia today? I thought they were playing the Nats also but that must have just been a make up game or something in D. C. last night.
