Thank you, Tom. The fact that Stewart won in the playoff does not diminish what you accomplished on Duel in the Sun v.2.0. Two generations of the PGA Tour in a playoff at "The Open", and each the picture of talent, class and grace. Cink is generally considered to be one of the top three "nice guys" on the Tour and what can you say about Tom Teriffic? His behavior against the backdrop of what had to be one of the most disappointing moments over his long and successful career paints a crystal clear picture of how professional athletes have degenerated over the past twenty or so years. Today's athletes are so concerned with me, me, me that dignity rarely is exhibited. As proud as I am that at his (and mine) age, he competed so brilliantly last week, I am more proud about the human dignity that he displayed. Great golfer...enviable... great 59 year old golfer...touching... .great human being...PRICELESS. Thanks, Tom, for reminding us that dignity and sports can co-exist.
