DREAM 10 MMA picks...and ufc breaking news.

japan will say hello to the MMA world once again sunday night or early monday morning depending where you live with DREAM 10.

I personally love these events and they as well as the WEC events have IMO been consistently better than anything the ufc has put together this year, so if you watch ufc, and are into MMA do yourself a BIG favor and at least watch these on replay the next day or whenever you have a minute.

My ufc breaking news nuggett is Mirko cro cop filipovic who fought at ufc 99, basically did what no other fighter has dared to do and that was screw dana white, the next day he was mysteriously sick, he was hospitalized, some called it salmonella, but nobody really ever found out exactly what it was, He told white right after his win that he had signed with DREAM in japan and that he was gone, when white said he was supposed to be under a 3 or a 4 fight contract. his bout was scheduled with mighty mo for DREAM 10 and everything......as of about 6 hours ago "cro cop" has re-signed with the ufc.

yep heard all about it brother, one of the Fertita brothers had to fly out there because cro cop refused to even talk to white. This is how you know chung that other promotions are really becoming a threat to the ufc, the ufc never bends over and does anyone a favor and they did all that just to get cro cop for 3 fights..........and here comes the big push for fedor i'm telling you it's coming because everyone will want to see him fight lesnar, problem is even if fedor does go to the UFC IMO he is on the end of his career now and NEVER "sells" a fight the way the ufc loves...but if he fights lesnar, lesnar will talk enough for the both of them to sell the fight.....

DREAM is becoming as good as pride was chung, no joke, if you get HDnet, dvr it or maybe have a friend dvr it for you, it will be worth it, and the card for DREAM standards isn't even that stacked ! just by the card lineup it already looks as good as ufc 100.




p.s chung what do you think does white have access to something like your post game meal....... I think so but nothing has been proven about that either.

OFFICIAL card picks for DREAM 10

***I'm personally downgrading melvin Manhoef to a 2unit play...(no new news or anything just the more i think about it 2 units is good enough if you already laid 3 units i would stick with it, unless you can buy back that unit for close to even as the line is moving and people are taking melvin)

2 units Melvin Manhoef +110 (plain and simple if filho is still seeing ghosts and not right in the head melvin will KO him, if filho has gotten his head together, filho should sub melvin easy.....i don't think his head is straight so i'm going with melvin.

2 units andre "dida" Amade +140 (this is somewhat a homer pick, one of the guys that does the show trains with him,) so all 3 of us on the show like him to win but again we are biased. *getting dida as a dog is great so i'll take him but i will warn anyone that follows he hasn't fought in 16 months

1 unit Dong Sik Yoon -185 just going with the level of competition each has faced, yoon has faced much tougher competition, taylor fought last week so who knows if he has any damage, taylor has also won 5 in a row but not against competition like yoon.

1 unit Parlay Galvao/Aoki -110 (i don't see galvao losing and i really wanted to take aoki but not at -200, so i put him with galvao.

1 unit Tarec Saffiedine + 135 don't know a lot about him but looks good enough to me as a dog, the guy he is fighting has never been really special at all so if tarec is as good as his record i see him getting the win.

If anyone wants to take someone to win the GP at good odds i do think sakurai will win it, but +400 for galvao is a great price because i think sakurai will have a harder , longer first fight, he is also the older fighter, so if he gets torn up in his first fight and galvao wins his easy, galvao has a great shot IMO. Zaromiskis is +1200 and if he does beat sakurai it's all up for grabs, i'm just going with 10 on each just for fun.....like i said I'll post EVERYTHING i play for you guys.


P.S if you have an offshore you might want to listen to the show tonight as we will all 3 be getting ready to watch DREAM 10 so i'm sure we will talk about the fights tonight at 10pm.

If it helps any chase from the show agreed with everyone of my picks, have not talked to karsten yet. But i know he is on dida, that's his boy.
