up 3-0 in the middle of a game that you need to win and you get goated into taking a fight, as a result you lose 5-3, yea you won the fight , hope that was worth it, because pitt just advanced.

anyone that watched that game knows that, that fight completeley changed the whole game, and people wonder why there is fighting in hockey ?

max talbot is not a fighter and carcillo is one of the best, talbot took it upon himself to get his team going, when your team sees you willing to get into a fight with one of the best fighters in the league, everyone says hey look at max, c'mon guys let's get going, we need to do more, we need to play as hard as him. 5 unanswered goals later, pittsburgh is in the 2nd round. philly's season is done.

Too early to say with the New Jersey and New York series both 3-2 and still far from over. They could potentially play anyone....

The Pens were the better team. They would have won in game 7 at home. I expect to see them get back to the cup finals again this year. Can they win it? Uncertain.

Talbot got a cheap shotted in game one from Dino. Up 3-0 he had to drop the gloves so that win or lose Talbot could settle what was at stake.

The fact that Philly choked and the only reason they were in this series because of their 4th line (Jeff Carter 0 goals) 4th line one each does not matter. I know about all the momentum swings and all of that hoopla but the bottom line is that Dino had to fight and them blowing a 3 goal lead had little to do with his fight. Talbot got his but kicked and shhhhed the crowd. Philly continued thier idiotic chants about Crosby(3rd best hockey player in league but best face for the game) and sorts.

Bottom line is that Philly choked and you can't blame Dino because of a fight. He didn't blow the lead. The better team won the series and he is simply the scapegoat much like the player(can't think of his name) that turned the puck over serveral important times last year that was not part of their team this year.

Philly fans suck and so does their team. They can't win the big game. The World Series was a fluke because they would have lost to the Yanks or Red Sox if they made it. Kudos to the Devil Rays for making it to the big show but they didn't put on pressure on the chokers I mean phillies.

Steelers and Penguins are by far the better teams and franchises that win the big games when they matter unlike the Philly teams that choke on their cheesesteakes when things get important like home ice advantage or a 3 goal lead in a game they need to win.

Wait another billion years for a world championship because the Eagles and Flyers are chokers along withe Fluke Phillies!

it's playoff hockey, anything can and usually does happen, since i had pitt for the series i'll take the win now rather than rely on you telling me they would have won game 7 at home.
