Jerry Jones explained his decision to Terrell Owens using a table cloth and a black pen.
The Cowboys owner drew a line and wrote both men’s names on each side. He then told Owens that he felt he gave him 100 percent and vice versa, which the receiver agreed with.
Then Jones drew an arch over both names and wrote “Dallas Cowboys”.
“Unfortunately we have this bigger thing up here,” Jones said. “Unfortunately I’ve got to make the decision for what’s right for something a lot bigger than you, a lot bigger than me, and a lot bigger than our relationship. It’s time for us to part ways business wise.”
