I like harrison as a player, i remember playing against him in high school but top bring a player back to his home town with some real fucked up friends that he still hangs out with would be a bad move. He owns a bar in north philly and if you are not familiar with that part of the city lucky you. He still hangs in the bar and still bums around with the same thugs he did growing up with. Great player but it would be a bad move i believe for him to be here in philly.

oh i agree.the point i was making was that just because of 2 bad seasons dont really write him or anyone else off.moss was going in the 5th or 6th round of alot of fantasy drafts 3 years ago.last year before the injury to brady he was the first wr taken.i know age is a huge set back and this is and was a bad example just trying to say dont write guys off because of 2 bad seasons when they get that fire under them to prove someone wrong that adreniline can take away some age.i think if he goes to phily he will be a nice 2 or 3 receiver but why not take a shot at him.worth a chance in my opinion.you never know what you are going to get but the funny thing about being a posession receiver is that you dont need that great of speed just great hands and run perfect routes.this he can do and we all know it.

I would love to see him in philly, but he had a lot of problems here last year.

He was accused of shooting some guy who now has a civil suit against him. And the eagles are one of the teams that stay away from any negative publicity.

they havent been since then btw not a T.O fan at all but as I recall him and screw rosenhaus trying to instantaneously renegotiate his contract toward the end of the superbowl season then him getting into a fight with hugh douglass the next season and the eagles keeping him around for like 8 games of the next season, becoming a huge distraction the whole season.


not trying to antagonize you but maybe the eagles should find a receiver not 40 year marvin harrison and give mc nabb a chance.

instead of the jerkoff fans booing him like they did on draft day and his whole career there especially after he has been a top 6 qb the last 10 years there.

I don't remember one big name receiver McNabb ever had besides TO. And the one year he had TO, he made a super bowl. Philly has the defense, they have a breakout RB, and they have a QB who will probably be done in 2 or 3 years. If Philadelphia wants a SB, they can make a good run at it, with one good piece. And IMO, that piece is a breakout, deep threat WR.
IMO, Harrison is not the answer, and Houshmanzedah is not the answer. Eagles need someone on the long ball, and that aint either of those two. That's my opinion on what the Eagles need to do, to become a serious contender.

The same negative comments were directed towards randy moss 3 years ago and now he is the #1 receiver in football.

Totally different situations. First of all, Moss isn't the #1 WR in football right now. More importantly, Moss still had all of his talent, it was his dedication that was in question. Marvin isn't half the player he was five years ago.
