I see a bunch of scores currently at 0-0;maybe we can some up with something with these if we think hard enough.

              I hear ya Tinman!
              Mavskid-I got one!!!
              This one is beyond absurdity.
For no special reason other than the fact I love disco, I have my disco tv station on, and they are playing an old song I kind of liked called "Boogie Woogie Dancin Shoes."
On the screen they displayed the year the song came out, and it was 1979.
Well, I checked #79(actually #879) for tomorrow, and it is Memphis in the NBA against Detroit.
Here is where it gets interesting:
The last time these two teams played each other the score was 87-79 won by Detroit.
Thus we get a play for Memphis which matches their score the last time the teams played(79) but also another play in #87, which is Sacramento.
              Fire away!!!
ps If this good luck continues, I might go service and start charging. lol

PS I think we have to be careful with the Disco TV Station number "system" simply because there were many disco songs put out in the 1970's and 1980's, and I just happened to look at the screen when they were playing that particular song.
I watched the screen after I saw the song corresponding to 1979 and saw several songs which were made in the 1980's.
I guess what really counts here is that I just happened to turn to the screen at a particular time when they were playing a song I sort of liked;obviously to just and write down every year corresponding to every subsequent song would be meaningless.
It is interesting and maybe telling though how Memphis also scored 79 points the last time they played Detroit.

#879 playing in a game that was 87 -79 last time, when you were watching the disco channel, that played a song you liked, that come out in the year 1979. That's reason enough for me, I'll play along, good luck.

Mavs-don't know if I will play or not-this may be too contrived.
If I do play, it will be Memphis.
                    Good luck

                      Two more winners(Sacramento closed getting 2 1/2).
I went back and did a quick tally;unless I erred or left something out, these picks have gone 12-2 since we started.!!
The bad news is that I didn't play all of them-this is getting interesting.

I checked one more time, and if you count the exhibition baseball, the plays went 14-2 or 87.5%-almost as good as Ty Gaston and his 104-6 Code Zebra plays.

Hopefully one of us or someone else will see something which applies to the tournament.
Keep in mind that is has to be natural thing/number in the normal flow of events and NOT something which you consciously search for in order to be valid.

Hold on to your hat Mavskid-this one goes beyond belief, and it is the god's honest truth!
My wife and I were having dinner tonight in a restaurant, and i took out my sports pagers to check some scores.
Right away my pager showed the Portland/ Memphis game and The Houston/NO game at 41-35 in the second quarter.
I thought that interesting in itself, as it was the first time I took out the pager during dinner;already I was interested in what games numbered 35 and 41 would be in the next few days.
Now get this, and this is where it gets scary:
On the ride home while on the highway, I decided to pass a car which was going too slow-the plate number was CY 35.
Ok-I passed the car and then the VERY NEXT car in front of the one I passed had plate number D22 W41;all I could was wow-what are the chances of that happening?
Anyways, as soon as I got home, I checked numbers 35 and 41(didn't bother with number 22 because it was sort of incidental).
Anyways, there is nothing tomorrow, but starting on Wednesday, the system turned up the following teams:
Portland U, Western Kentucky, East Tennessee State and USC.
If all of those four teams win, thats it, I am going service(jk-i would never be like those who first post for free and then sell their soul to the devil by charging).
Anyways, tell me what you think of the plays based both on the numbers of course and their merits on their own.
