  • Statistical Anomaly Trivia and Question

I don't know if anyone noticed or commented on it, but last night there were two early NBA games-Indy and the Knicks and Philadelphia and New Jersey.
What is interesting/strange is that both games were tied at the half with exactly the same score, 51-51.
Yes it is true that tie score occur all the time, but for the only two games going to be tied with exactly the same score must be a rare occurrence.
Now here is my question related to above:
#In honor of the number 51 being the score at which the teams were tied, I thought I might play the number 51 somehow today in gambling but not with daily lottery number.
I noticed that today on schedule the only number game ending with #51 is Anahem in hockey.
Are there any hockey experts out there who can tell me if Anaheim is a goodm play on its own merits?
ps I know this "system" is absurd, but I am superstitious, and sometimes numbers just hit me a certain way;last night was one example.

i somewhat like the play savage. Ryan Miller buffalos starting goalie is out and he has been the reason they have been winning games since the start of the new year. he was hurt last game vs the rangers. Lalime the back up has been garbage all year. i myself will probably will stay away from this one casue buffalo is at home and anahiem has to travel cross country. also anahiem hasnt been playin that well and buffalo typically owns them at home. you put a gun to my head im takin anahiem ps i have been garbage all year in hockey gl

We have another statistical anomaly tonight in the NBA tonight, but this time there are no plays.
Both the NO/Phil game and the Washington/Atlanta game had scores of 46-45 at the half.
However, in the schedule book #45 always plays #46, thus I don't see any way to play it.
Perhaps I should both teams and hope it lands on the number, meaning I don't lose the juice. lol

Savage, I believe the U/O for both games was near or over 200, leaving the 1H U/Os at about 100 and they would both end UNDER. So logically the play is UNDER on any game that ends 45/46. Just trying to contribute

Hmm-interesting thought. The question is then whether to play the UNDER tomorrow(the game is Rutgers/ Syracuse) for the first half, for the entire game(or maybe even the second half) or maybe all three- HELP?????

Logically, you took the first half scores last time, and played that number for the WHOLE GAME. So once, again the play should be for the whole game. Which is at 146. I'm not superstitious, never really have been. But this one is CRAZY. I will be on the Rutgers/Cuse UNDER tomorrow for sure. But if it changes off of 146 we tread lightly and just make it a small play

Wow-I didn't know that the total for game 45/46 ended in 46 also(146)-that is eerie.
Could that be a signal that Syracuse(#46) is the play here or maybe Syracuse and Under?

SAVAGE. Holy crap the total for 45/46 has now moved to 146.5. I'm putting a play in on this, I don't care anything. UNDER Syracuse/Rutgers 146.5. This looks too good to be true.

Tech.... sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do. And with all this stuff savage has been throwing at me, I gotta play it. There's been a couple other threads we discussed this type of stuff, I'm not superstitious, but I think this is kind of crazy
