I am sure arrington and many of these players are smart.....however, on some level their decision making process is off and they make dumb decisions....which in my mind is DUMB

I am sure mike vick is smart....you have to have some level to learn an nfl playbook.....i do not think it is that aspect i am questioning.

I also think RWALL is right in the Vick case, but many others like pacman may never play in the NFL again and probably does not have Mike Vick type money....

In the case of arrington he was already on the NFL fringe as far as injury and loss of talent. this just makes him a much riskier proposition to employ. I know he will land on his feet probably because he is very eloquent when he was on the ESPN show and seemed like he would be good on TV
I guess saying you were even dumber for getting smacked around on your head in boxing, and don't have any money to show for it.
They still have their Millions to show for their dumbness.

First of all Chuck i made a conscious decision to compete in amateur boxing which for your information is one of the safest sports in terms of injury.

Secondly. Boxing is one of the sports that probably has the most beaten down athletes who never get a payday for their hard work. It is common knowledge that most fighters are taken advantage of by the promoters and mllion dollar paydays probably happen for under 2% of pro fighters (not total fighters)...I used to see more sad stories of ex-fighters who are broke and i personally know many.

I assume that you are taking a jab at me because i disagree with you which i fully expect.

I have made a living as an entrepreneur for 20+ years with some great success and some failures along the way. I sell commercial real estate and broker businesses nationally as well. Somehow the blows to my head have not prevented me from making a great living

*good luck with your fragile existence

somehow i knew this would get personal with you.....Let me guess ...since you have been away your picks are 897-3 in baseball each for 5K???

take care chuck...you are a gem

        What color is Ben Roethlisberger?

There are idiots, bigots, morons, racists, et cetera in every segment of society, in every socio-economic class, in every profession, in every neighborhood, in every demographic.

        Bettorschat is no exception.

Ignorance and single-mindedness is not a virtue, no matter how you dress it up.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.
