  • Mayweather vs. DeLaHoya

Anybody have any opinion on the bout? Leaning toward Mayweather bc he is definately the more talented fighter at this stage of his career, but he is talking a lot of trash and I hate to bet guys like that.

i love the over 11.5 rounds mayweather does not have great knockout power and he is to quick for Delohoya to get any clean shots on

Somebody's gotta call it, so I say Oscar shocks the world and caps his career off with a dramatic KO and then rides off into the sunset with another 25 million or so...

I do not recall oscar taking a beatdown from anyone....He was outpointed twice by sugar shane mosley (both close and 2nd one i thought he won), tko from liver shot from bernard hopkins who is a natural cruiserweight and a pound for pound guy....Oscar was also beating hopkins until his size wore him down....Oscar also has 30 kos in 38 wins..(not just a boxer).not bad either....I would not count Oscar out at all...he has the heart of a champion....Also Oscar is the bigger man...Remember Floyd started out as a Lightweight.......and built himself up to 147......I agree that oscar may not win....but he will be formidable....Even Zab caught floyd with some good shots....

                Oscar in a decision

I don't normally buy fights, but I am getting this one.
                Good Luck to everyone

                Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

I am going with Mayweather. This bout will last a while and I think Mayweather will hang around longer and have more lasting energy than DelaHoya.
We are having a cinco de mayo party so I won't bet it but I will be in the Mayweather side of things.

                      I just say that.

My wife wants to get the fight more than I do. I can't say no expecially if I blow $300-$400 on the Derby and other races that day.

If I had friends that liked boxing it would be better.

Another element i forgot was that floyd has very fragile hands that are susceptible to breaks. My friend who knows emmanual stewart says that it is a major concern. Also Oscar has the heart of a lion and is always prepared. He also is a fighter who utilizes angles and rarely gets hit flush.....

Also FM is a natural 130 pound guy and i do not think he can knock out oscar.....

I think mayweather wins a decision....but i would not be surprised and would love an upset

Highly unlikely....Naturally a smaller man (means alot in boxing when you pop up in weight class)

#2 Oscar does not get knocked out ( except liver shot....1 in a million by Hopkins who is a natural cruiserweight....about 35 pounds heavier)

#3 Floyd has bad hands and does not posess 1 punch KO power which means he would have to inflict combinations and Oscar is too slick for that

#4 Oscar fights the angles and rarely will be caught square or flush

*** will Oscar be hit......YUP...alot...but not without firing back and getting FM's respect....

Anything can happen, but i do not see a KO
