Interesting! My take differs from yours. I watched the fights tonight. Aside from the first round knock down I thought he gave Bravo a beating. One judge agreed with me scoring the fight 49-46.Originally posted by BigWeinerFrank - Grady should've lost to Vinroy, and Bravo was about 2 seconds away from knocking him out in the first round. He doesn't punch, he pushes, there's nothing behind his right.
K9 gave Forbes a beating in the first round. I was not impressed with Forbes' vs K9 at all. Forbes was flailing away but not landing many blows. Honestly, did Forbes ever hit Bundrage with a hard blow? Forbes stole the fight with unlanded punches late in rounds and in the 5th round.Last edited by frankb03; 09-21-2006, 11:39 PM.

I'm not sure how you can say that. Bravo had a huge welt under his left eye. He might not have knockout power. Bundrage was the only fighter with true knockout power.Originally posted by BigWeinerHe doesn't punch, he pushes, there's nothing behind his right.

I totally see were you are coming from on this. True Bravo's face did take a beating, he was leaving his hands down, but if Grady wasn't saved by the bell, I think the fight was over in the first round, he was woozy, that was not slip. K-9 is a god awful fighter, and everyone who fought him looked terrible, because he was holding arms, getting people in headlocks. Forbes isn't very powerful, but he gets a lot of punches off, and in a 10 round fight, were neither fighter will get knocked out, IMO, he'll get the decision, besides that, he's much flasher, great combinations, etc etc.Originally posted by frankb03I'm not sure how you can say that. Grady did get saved by the bell. I give him credit. He fought back.Originally posted by BigWeinerI totally see were you are coming from on this. I think Grady is a better fighter and faster than Forbes. I agree with you. Forbes gets off lots of punches. Even though, many of his punches don't land or cause any harm. He was flailing away at K9. It looked flashy but did no damage.
I thought season 1 was better than season 2.

hey fellas...I saw the replays tonoght for the first time......The first fight between K-9 and forbes was a pretty good one.....Power/strength against speed........the next fight pitted 2 guys....1 who has a whole lot of heart and a supposed good boxer........The second fight showed 2 guys laying it on the line and i applaud that, but and it is a BIG BUT, both these fighters have HUGE holes in their games......1 guy lost so it does not matter....the other one is wide open to eat rights and combinations....He poses (means he watches after he throws) and he puts distance when he should be closing in (meaning he eats power punches)...also when he throws his jab he does not move his head well at all and someone will land and time a big right....
I concur with Weiner that forbes should win this .....easily
