You raise a good point. Teams would rather risking using some washed up nobody than get a young gun in there. Decades ago they'd bring up some young pitcher from the minors. Now they don't have the balls.

Teams need to win now and I think they believe it is too big of a stage for someone who has never been to "the show"....I am sure if it were the pirates or KC they would tap the minors.....But with Ponson, they are hoping to catch lightning in a bottle...a la chacon or small!!! JMHO

why the need for insults.....Why would i care about championships before i was alive???
