The Bulls will attempt to sweep the season series from the Celtics tonight when the teams meet in Chicago. However the bigger picture is, Chicago and Boston fighting for playoff berths. The Bulls trail the 76ers (8th) by 1 1/2 games with the Celtics two games back of the Bulls. With so much on the line, I see a tight game and expect a low scoring one. That's in contrast to the first three games between these two teams this year, as all three have gone 'over' the total with Chicago averaging 108.3 PPG. That being said, a quick check of the 'line hsitory' shows that oddsmakers have not made much of an adjustment to the total, as the opening total for this game was 194, just three points lower than the first game of the season between these two teams, despite the three straight overs they've played. Boston has gone over in its last two games but was 8-2 to the under in its previous 10 games. Chicago has played three straight overs as well but was under in six of seven before that. I'm predicting a close game and one that will go against the recent trend, so take the under.
