The Detroit Pistons travel to Indianapolis tonight to take on the Pacers at the Conseco Fieldhouse . Indiana is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, one-half game behind Washington and 1 1/2 games ahead of Milwaukee for seventh.
Jermaine O'Neal finally returned from his groin injury and added 16 in his first game since January 24 for the Pacers in Wednesday's 95-85 win over the Chicago Bulls. Having O'Neal back is the key to this game. He always brings his best game when facing the Pistons, and should be a force for Rasheed and Ben to deal with.
There are some interesting trends that caught my eye in this game. Indiana is 11-2 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record - 2nd half of the season this season. Indiana is 28-12 ATS when revenging a road loss vs opponent over the last 2 seasons, and ... Indiana is 12-3 ATS versus good ball handling teams - committing <=14 turnovers/game - 2nd half of the season this season.
I see an extremely close game here going down to the final seconds, in which the Pacers could possibly even win this game outright! Take the home dog and the Points!
