    MLB Baseball
    2 Units on Arizona Diamondbacks -1½ +165 (Davis - R, Gonzalez - R)
The youngest player in the majors, the 20-year-old Gonzalez will make the second start of his career when the Arizona Diamondbacks open a three-game interleague series against the Cleveland Indians at Bank One Ballpark. On Sunday, the rookie right-hander allowed three runs and 10 hits through 5 2-3 innings of 10-4 win over the San Diego Padres. With three starters on the disabled list, including aces Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling, Gonzalez is likely to remain in the rotation for a while.

    2 Units on San Francisco Giants -1½ -135 (Bonderman - R, Rueter - L)
The Giants began play in 1883, and the Tigers in 1901, but this is the clubs' first meeting. Kirk Rueter, San Francisco's scheduled starter, has as many wins -- six -- as the Detroit starters for the entire series. Rueter will be looking for his fifth straight win after allowing seven hits in 7 1-3 innings of the Giants' 4-0 victory over Colorado on Sunday. He is 4-0 with a 3.32 ERA in his last six starts. Detroit manager Alan Trammell, who saw San Francisco slugger Barry Bonds up close in three years as a coach with San Diego, said he'd follow the common approach of pitching around Bonds.San Francisco is coming off a 5-2 loss to Minnesota in the finale of their interleague series. J.T. Snow became just the third Giant to record a splash hit into McCovey Cove, the body of water just beyond right field.

    4 Units on Chicago White Sox +135 (Buehrle - L, Ishii - L)
A 19-game winner last season, Buehrle tries again for his first win since April 10 as the Chicago White Sox travel to Los Angeles to open a weekend interleague series with the Dodgers. After dropping the team's season opener against Kansas City on March 31, Buehrle won consecutive starts to improve to 2-1 with a 1.23 ERA. He is 0-7 with a 6.05 ERA in 10 outings since. On Sunday, he left after 6 1-3 innings with a 4-1 lead against Cleveland, having allowed six hits. But the relievers couldn't hold it, and the White Sox went on to a 5-4 loss in 10 innings. Opposing Buehrle for Los Angeles will be Kazuhisa Ishii, who has not been as lucky as he was last season. The Japanese left-hander was 8-1 with a 2.90 ERA after 10 starts in his first season in the majors. He is 4-2 with 3.21 ERA after 11 outings this year, despite opponents hitting just .173 against him. Ishii has not allowed more than three earned runs in any of his 10 starts since giving up five in his season debut at Arizona.
