N.C. State comes off of a dissapointing non conference loss to Seton Hall while Clemson is still rejoincing with its rare win over Georgia Tech. N.C. State took Seton Hall for granted after an easy win over Wake Forest. Guard Tony Bethal should have no trouble getting N.C. State back on track. He is N.C. States best perimeter defender and leads the team in 3-Pt. field goal percentage (.483). Look for Clemson to have a letdown after a convincing road win over Georgia Tech.

Syracuse comes into this mathcup losing 3 in a row to top ranked teams. They should be relieved to finally play a non-ranked team. Seton Hall has won 3 straight road games at Rutgers, Villanova, and most recently N.C. State. They should come out with another solid effort. Look for Seton Hall to slow the game down and try to force Syracuse to make turnovers, something that has plagued Syracuse in thier 3 losses. Seton Halls stout defense should keep this game close.
