The Longhorns lead the Big Twelve Conference under Head Coach Rick Barnes with a 16-2 Straight Up and 7-5 Against The Spread record, and a Top Ten ranking. They've reeled off eight SU wins in a row, and have gone 4-2 ATS during this winning skein. The Longhorns figure to be tough at Home tonight in Conference Play. Positive trends include 3-1 ATS versus Conference rivals, 4-0 ATS with less than two days of rest, and 2-0 ATS as Home Favorites in this point range.
The Cowboys enter this Conference match up under their long-tenured Head Coach Eddie Sutton at 12-6 SU and Even Stephen 7-7 ATS on the season. They've been hard to gauge so far, but seem to currently be a cut below their normal level. The Cowboys will need to step up their play tonight to run with the Longhorns on the Road. Negative trends include 1-3 ATS in Conference Play, 0-4 ATS on the Road when the Total is in this point range, and 3-6 ATS versus good Offensive teams.
