    KENTUCKY WILDCATS @ KANSAS JAYHAWKS

    NOON SATURDAY EST

    RED ZONE SPORTS

Normally this is a game with national implications, and a preview of what "March Madness" may bring as we go deeper into the NCAA Tourney. True the Wildcats started slow, but they have climbed back into the #21 ranking after disappearing from the polls for the first time in years, but the Jayhawks haven't been singing "ROCK-TALK-JAYHAWK any too frequently at home. Kansas is 8-4 and has lost all of those games in the friendly confines of Phog Allen Fieldhouse. True they did lose to Arizona and Arkansas, but also to Saint Joes and Nevada. The Jayhawks will start three sophs and three frosh in the first six, and will struggle vs the experience of Kentucky. They are just lucky that Kentucky doesn't get 6-10 Randolph Morris back till Jan 10th when the SEC season begins.

The Cats are 10-3, and have played their usual tough demanding schedule, and have losses to Iowa, North Carolina and Indiana. Still they have good wins over West Virginia, Louisville and a very good mid major Ohio team picked to win the MAC Conference. They only thing that scares us, is they are coming off an embarrassing two victory over Central Florida in their last game played after finals. Jayhawks are 4-4 ATS and the Cats are 4-5. Call it a hunch, or call it whatever you want, we like the boys from the bluegrass state to cover and win on Saturday in Lawrence Kansas on national television.
