Iowa vs. Wisconsin
The Wisconsin Badgers are returning home after a terrible visit to Penn State who beat them handily. While Iowa is coming off a close loss to Northwestern as they travel to Wisconsin. Who has the edge after these defeats? Always go with the team returning home.
The Badgers will be pumped up for this one not only because of last weeks loss but because this is their retiring head coach Barry Alvarez’s last home game. Look for Wisconsin’s emotions to be high to give their coach a proper home send off. Brian Calhoun will be the focus of Wisconsin’s offense being the 2nd ranked running back in the Big Ten. Wisconsin will have to control Iowa’s offense lead by their QB Drew Tate and their running back Albert Young, and they will.
Iowa is only averaging 17 points a game on the road while Wisconsin is averaging 41 points a game at home. Wisconsin is going to win this one big and if they have a bad game they’ll still win by a field goal.
