    3 Units on Philadelphia 76ers O 180 -110
The Hornets lost both games to the Sixers in Philadelphia, but countered with a 99-85 triumph in Game Three on Saturday. Baron Davis, who missed Game Two with a bruised and strained left knee, scored 28 points for New Orleans, which played without leading scorer Jamal Mashburn, who dislocated his right middle finger in Game Two. Jamaal Magloire contributed 18 points, P.J. Brown 17 and 12 rebounds and Jerome Moiso scored all 10 of his points in the fourth quarter. Allen Iverson scored 28 points to pace the Sixers, but he totaled only eight after the break. Philadelphia, which received just 11 points from its bench, narrowly outshot New Orleans but made only 2-of-14 3-pointers. The Hornets went 8-of-23 from the arc.

    4 Units on Arizona Diamondbacks -1½ +115 (Wayne - R, Dessens - R)
On Sunday, the Diamondbacks swept both ends of a doubleheader with the New York Mets thanks to strong pitching from starters Brandon Webb and Randy Johnson. Webb struck out 10 in seven scoreless innings, but was optioned back to Triple-A Tuscon in between games to make room on the roster for Game 2 starter Johnson, who had been on the disabled list with inflammation in his right knee. Johnson, who has won the last four Cy Young awards, struck out 12 en route to his first win of the season. The win couldn't have come soon enough for Arizona, which has struggled along with Johnson and No. 2 starter Curt Schilling (1-2, 4.28 ERA). While Schilling and Johnson have been struggling, Dessens, whose two wins are the most of any Arizona starter, has helped to pick up some of the slack. The right-hander, who has won in two of his last three appearances, became the first starter to earn a win when he beat the Milwaukee Brewers 9-3 on April 13. ``This was good for everybody,'' he said after the win. ``I just tried to keep the ball down with my sinker and slider.'' Dessens has dominated the Marlins during his career: In five appearances, including four starts, he is 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA.
