BC`s defense DOMINATED in 2004, allowing less than 17 ppg on average ranking 12th nationally in scoring defense, allowing just under 17 ppg. Eight starters return from that defense, including Big East Defensive Player of the Year Mathias Kiwanuka, who turned down the NFL to return to BC.
Even though this is a road game, it`s HUGE for the Eagles, as it represents their first ever game as a member of the ACC and it couldn`t come against a better program, as BYU is on the slide. Usually tough in Provo, look for the winds of change to prevail and the Eagles defense to absolutely abuse the Cougars.
