EMU returned 9 starters last year and still gave up 40 a game, and, only return 5 starters this year from one of the worst Defensive units in the nation.
Cincy returns 3 starters from last years Defensive squad that gave up 27 ppg.
Cincy has averaged over 24 ppg the past 6 years(EMU defensively over that same span giving up 35 per game) and their program is a step above EMU's, so they do have athletes Offensively to step in and will be able to score points against EMU's pourous Defense. Even with the redshirt Frosh starting @ QB...Dont let that scare you off.
EMU HC Genyk took EMU's Offense to 21st overall(from 116) in the NCAA last year and he has 7 starters back including the QB. They will score tonight.
EMU getting +10 is too many. With Cincinatti being so young, they wont be ready to play at the level required to cover this number. EMU Offensively should be able to keep this one close and even if they get down 14-17...A late backdoor is not out of the question at all with this quick strike offense.
