The Pistons barely covered 2 days agao with an 89-88 final score against the cavs, Ben Wallace being injured on the April 6th game, Detroit has needed overtime to beat Chicago and double overtime to beat Memphis. Coming in with the ¨Top Spot¨ in the conference, the Pistons have a one-game lead over the Nets with one game remaining (tonight´s), but Detroit owns the tiebreaker. Orlando on the other hand did lose their last game, against Atlanta. The loss ensured that Orlando will be the seventh or eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Darrell Armstrong missed all eight of his shots, making him 1-of-16 over the last two games. Drew Gooden, coming back from a toe injury, was the only other Orlando player in double figures with 15 points. Detroit will become Victor in this game!!

It was clear that after watching at about halftime, the Spurs led the pack 44-37 and pulled away early in the third as the Jazz struggled from the field. Duncan went 6-for-7 in the quarter to put the Spurs up 69-54 entering the fourth,Winning for the 12th time in 13 games and beating the Jazz for the 13th straight time, the Spurs made sure Wednesday's home game against Dallas won't matter. Dallas, which opened the season 14-0 but has struggled lately, can still tie the Spurs by winning at San Antonio on Wednesday, but the Spurs hold the tiebreaker with a better conference record. These guys seemed very on fire, as will happen on tonight´s game!!

The Cubs took advantage of a 24-mph wind to hit three home runs, in their last game with the Reds. Mark Bellhorn and Hee Seop Choi also homered. The Cubs sent 11 batters to the plate in the fourth inning. Sosa, who hit his 500th homer against Cincinnati on April 4 but had not hit one since, connected against Reds starter Danny Graves, giving the Cubs a 1-0 lead. The Reds committed two errors and lead the NL with 19 errors in 14 games. ... In Chicago's eight wins this season, the pitching staff has surrendered just 39 hits. ... Sosa is three home runs shy of Hall of FamerEddie Murray whose 504 home runs are 17th on the all-time list.
