5 Units on Indiana Pacers -3 -110
The fourth-place Pacers, who trail third-place Philadelphia by one game with two to play, have a one-half game lead over New Orleans, which has one game left. But Indiana went 3-1 against New Orleans this season and can secure home-court advantage with a win over the Knicks. Indiana has lost three straight games, including a 107-98 setback at Milwaukee on Sunday. Jermaine O'Neal scored 25 points, Ron Artest 23 and Al Harrington 20 for the Pacers, who were whistled for six technical fouls. The Knicks beat Washington on Monday, 93-79, in Michael Jordan's final home game. Allan Houston scored 23 points and Shandon Anderson added 18 off the bench for the Knicks, who shot 49 percent and limited the Wizards to 40 percent. Indiana is ready to make a come back, and everyone knows winning tonight would do them a world of good!!
4 Units on Los Angeles Lakers -16 -110
Los Angeles blew almost any chance of earning home-court advantage in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with a 101-99 loss at Portland on Sunday. Kobe Bryant's potential game-winning 3-pointer banged off the backboard as time expired, snapping the Lakers' six-game winning streak. Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal each poured in 36 points but they received little help. The rest of the Lakers combined for 27 points on 9-of-25 shooting. The Lakers trail Portland by one game for fifth place in the Western Conference and are 1 1/2 games behind fourth-place Minnesota. If the Timberwolves win their season finale on Wednesday, they earn the fourth seed and homecourt advantage in the first round. Denver lost its sixth straight game with a 101-79 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday. Rookie Jeff Trepagnier scored 15 points as the Nuggets fell behind by as many as 28 points in the first half. As we all know, the Lakers are a very powerful team. Well coordinated, and together. we´ve seen this same senario before....they play like no other team has played before, but yet guys like Kobe and Shaq can't always score the same amount of points like they do, and keep saving the whole team. Please realize that Denver will be a day in the park for L.A. The Nuggets haven´t really performed like they outta, and it´s too late for them to start now.......my prediction is Lakers ----all the way!!

4 Units on New York Mets -1½ +130 (Glavine - L, Fogg - R)
New York is coming off a crushing four-game sweep to Montreal in the Expos' part-time home of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Mets were outscored 22-8 in the series, capped with Monday's 5-3 loss. The Mets, who hadn't been swept by the Expos in a four-game set since September 1972, bear a striking resemblance to the team that finished last in the NL East last season despite one of the highest payrolls in the majors. After spending his first 16 seasons in Atlanta, Glavine signed a three-year, $35 million contract with the Mets this past offseason in a move designed to help New York suprass the Braves for the division title. The veteran left-hander had a rocky debut, allowing five runs and eight hits over just 3 2-3 innings in a 15-2 opening day loss to the Chicago Cubs on March 31. But he has bounced back with two impressive outings and is coming off his best start in a New York uniform. Glavine allowed just five hits over six scoreless innings Thursday, but closer Armando Benitez suffered the second of his three blown saves in a 4-3 setback to the Florida Marlins. The Mets will come out of this losing streak, and triumph!! My outcome for this game of course is Mets all the way!!!!
