We will continue to ride the Sixers, as they are the hottest team in the league with a 13-2 mark since the All-Star break. New Jersey has won their last 2 games after losing 7 of their previous 8 games. With their recent hot streak, Philadelphia has pulled within 2 games of the Nets in the Atlantic Division and are just 2.5 games behind Detroit for the top seed in the East. New Jersey has been on a terrible run of late and still do not seem like the same team from a year ago. After starting the season 26-9, they are just 14-16 their last 30 games and are fortunate that the Sixers started so slow, or they would be looking up at them right now. Larry Brown has done a terrific job turning this team around, a team that is difficult to get control of. Philadelphia is 4-1 ATS as underdogs since the All-Star break. The Nets are just 5-11 ATS since the break and 4-8 ATS in the favorite role. We feel this line is only a couple points too high as the home team should be favored in a divisional game such as this. However, when breaking it down, maybe the Sixers should be favored. We'll take the points here with the team playing at a much higher level right now.
