Despite their poor play of late, we look for the Rockets to meet the challenge here, as they desperately need a win to keep pace in the rugged Western Conference. As a road underdog playing without rest off a road loss, they are 11-3 ATS. On the road off 4 or more defeats, Houston has been rock solid, going 4-0 SU/5-0 ATS. In Wednesday road games, they are 6-1 ATS, while Toronto is 1-5 SU/ATS in mid-week home tilts, including dropping both games as a favorite.
The Raptors will have a tough time repeating last night's performance and we look for a letdown here. They are 0-7 ATS when playing without rest off a road underdog SU victory, while the Rockets are a sizzling 11-1 ATS vs. such competition, including 5-0 on the road. Toronto is also 3-12 ATS when playing with revenge vs. non-conference foes, 0-5 ATS as a home favorite off a road win vs. an opponent off a road defeat, and 0-3 ATS this season at home off a road dog win.
