Appalachian State +1 @ Wofford
From the world of the unknowns we get on the Terriers of Wofford tonight. I like a couple of factors in this matchup which leads us to the side on Wofford.
#1 Wofford has been shooting the ball very well over the last five games (50%) and faces an App State squad that is having trouble defending allowing 80 PPG over the last five. This club is also terrible from behind the three point line. I look for Wofford to pack it in the lane and force the Mountaineers to beat them from the perimeter (Not Likely)
#2 Appalachian State has struggled on the road this season going just 4-6 straight up. Don't get me wrong, Wofford is no stellar defensive squad by any means. I do think they will turn in a better effort at home and that should be the difference tonight.
I will stick with the small home favorite playing against a team that can't defend to save their lives.
