The Colonels will be getting two players, Kenyatta Dix and Champ Slaughter, and coach Travis Ford back from suspension after the teams brawl with Tennessee St. last week. Tennessee Tech has had a disappointing season under new coach Mike Sutton, as they are now 7-5 in the Ohio Valley conference. With their last two losses at Morehead St. and Austin Peay, they virtually lost any possibility of the regular season title and now must wait until the conference tournament to try and get in the big dance. Eastern Kentucky has the better offense of the two teams, averaging 75 ppg and 48% shooting at home while Tech is averaging 66 ppg and 43% shooting on the road. Defensively, the Colonels are allowing 3 more ppg (77-74) than the Golden Eagles. Eastern Kentucky is 3-0 ATS their last 3 games while Tennessee Tech is 1-3 ATS their last 4 games and just 4-8 ATS on the road. Tennessee Tech is emotional down right now and it wouldn't be surprising to see Eastern Kentucky win this one outright, but the 6 points are will come in very handy.
