Junior QB Croyle completed 16 of 22 in season opener vs Utah State, but their running backs did even better. Both senior Ray Hudson and sophomore Ken Darby ran for over 100 yards last week, and I think more of the same will happen vs a depleted Ole Miss defense. Ole Miss QB Michael Spurlock was 11 for 31, 185 yds last week vs Memphis...and only converted 3 of 15 1st downs. Ole Miss rushed for 58 yards on 33 attempts LW, and I don’t think things will get much better in Alabama. Overall, Alabama has outscored Ole Miss 165-41 in their L5 meetings, including 87-14 in their last 2 games when Manning was running the Ole Miss O.
