Tonight we like Los Angeles (Alvarez -$140) against Cincinnati (Hancock). Alvarez is 6-3 on the season and the Dodgers are 7-3 over his ten starts. He is also 2-0 with a nice 3.06 Era over his last three starts and the Dodgers are 7-3 over their last ten games overall, includign two straight wins. Cincy has dropped two straight and 7 of their last 10 games, plus they are 0-2 in Hancocks two starts this season. He is 0-1 with a 11.57 Era in those starts. Cincy took another blow (though not unexpected from recent history), as Griffey is gone for the season once again with a hammy injury. The Reds bullpen is terrible, especially when matched up against one of the best in MLB like the Dodgers. We expect the Dodgers to jump up early and cruise through this one.
