Cincinnati/St Louis UNDER 9: A solid pitching matchup in Cincinnati has me looking towrads the UNDER in this game. Woody williams is beginning to turn things around after a rough start, as he has a skinny 1.77 ERA in his last 3 starts. The Cards as a team have an ERA of just 2.20 in their last 10 games, and their team ERA of 3.78 is 2nd in the league. Paul Wilson has been solid for the Reds all year, with a 3.66 ERA, including a 2.18 ERA in 8 home starts and a 3.35 ERA in 13 night starts. Some trends are on the side of the UNDER as well. The UNDER is 6-1 the last 7 meetings, 8-2 in Cincinnati's last 10 overall and 9-2 in St Louis' 11 July games this year. A pitcher's duel at the Great American Ball Park is in the offing tonight.
