At this writing Rangers were undecided whether Rogers would take to the mound. Rogers is coming off his worst start of the season against Boston getting rocked for nine hits and eight runs over 1 2/3 innings of work. If Rogers does get the call keep in mind his teams (Rangers / Twins ) are 5-1 L6 vs Jays. Should Rogers ride the pine Drese should get the ball looking to improve his 6-1 TS mark at home. Either one the play is still against the Jays w/Halladay. The right-hander has struggled since returning from the disabled list, posting just two strong starts in his last five outings. We also find Jays a dismal 2-7 last nine vs Rangers with Halladay setting toes to rubber. Rangers 12-4 last sixteen home and 6-2 last eight hosting the Jays seals the deal.
