Red Sox came into the series off a drubbing in New York and having lost five of it's last six bounced back in fine style last night whipping Oakland 11-0 in the first of a three game set. The victory marked the third time Red Sox have put away A's this season and the sixth time in the last seven meetings. Look for the dominance to continue Wednesday as Red Sox send Pedro (8-3 3.74) to the hill. Martinez faces the Oakland for the first time since beating them in Game 5 of last October's Division Series and sports a 6-2 record w/2.16 ERA life-time vs A's. Red Sox having won seven of Pedro's eight starts in front of the home crowd this season adds to A's woes. Oakland which has dropped 14 of it's last 20 on the road are scheduled to counter with Mark Redman (6-5, 4.42). Redman 1-4 w/7.92 ERA vs Red Sox has struggled in his last two starts and comes in off double losses against Giants allowing six long ball in 10.2 innings of work.
