COLORADO (Estes) +127 at MILWAUKEE (Capuano) -137:
MLB - 8:05PM (EST)
The Rockies are (5-20) on the road over the past two months & have really struggled against left-handed pitching averaging only 1.72 runs per 9 innings & hitting just .172 away from Coors Field. After scoring only 2 runs in Tuesday’s game against the left-handed Doug Davis, Colorado will again have to face another southpaw on Wednesday, Chris Capuano.
The Rockies lineup is getting healthier with the return of both Larry Walker & Preston Wilson, but it should take time for these players to get back into the swing of facing major league pitching. The Brewers have now won 7 of their last 10 games at home where they have played solid all season.
Give Milwaukee the edge here at home against Colorado’s poor road play. We also like Texas at home against Seattle.
Best of luck,
-Drew
