All I can say is ouch. I had been rolling right along for the last 45 days or so with a bad day here and there mixed in, but I have now suffered two bad days in a row and I'm not happy about it at all. Not many people may think that 2 days is a slump but the way I've been going, it is. I lost both parts of my guarantee as Philly and the Padres both lost to inferior competition, and I also lost with Anaheim/ Pitt OVER 8.5. I won with San Francisco and the Cubs. I will stay focused and not let this ruin the whole season for me.

Philadelphia -165 over Detroit: The Phils really let me down last night, but I don't think that Detroit will beat them 2 in a row. Brett Meyer's has gotten his act together after a tough start and is 4-3 with a 4.45 ERA, while the Phils are 7-4 in his 11 starts. Detroit's Mike Maroth has pitched better this year but he is 2-3 with a 5.63 ERA in 8 road starts this year. Philly is a much better team than the one that played last night and I expect them to bounce back here.
