Tonight we like St Louis (Carpenter -$125) against Texas (Drese). The Cards are 7-3 over their last ten games to move into first place in the NL Central. Carpenter has been a big reason for this at 7-1 on the season with a nice 3.42 Era. The Cards are 9-2 over his 11 starts this season and he has even been sharper lately at 2-0 with a 2.31 Era over his last three. The Rangers are also 7-3 over their last ten, but they will find it tough to touch Carpenter for much today. Drese is 2-3 on the season and 0-2 with a 6.75 Era over his last three starts, plus the Cards continue to be the best road team in the majors with a 22-11 record.
