Baseball rankings for the last 30 days: I'm ranked 1st at Gameday Monitor and at Handicapper Hound Dog, 4th at Online Sports Network, and I'm 4th at Wise Tracking for the season. Even though I had a 4 day or so slump, I still am ranked highly for the last 30 days. Please feel free to head to those sites and see my records for yourself.
I have now gone 16-5-1 my last 22 posts here at Bettors Chat, after last nights winner on the UNDER in the Chicago/ St Louis game. I also have another free play at my site right now.
Atlanta over Detroit: After a solid start by Detroit, they are starting fall back in the pack. The Tigers have lost 7 of their last 10 games posting a 4.89 ERA in the process. They are also 12-16 at home this year, including 2-5 in their last 7, plus Detroit is 14-46 in June the last 3 years. Detroit's Jason Johnson is 4-6 this year with a 5.35 ERA, while his team is just 4-8 in his 12 starts. After a rough start, Atlanta's Mike Hampton is 1-1 with a 2.92 ERA in his last 3 starts. with neither the Phils or Marlins running away with the division the Braves know that games like these cannot be lost, and they won't lose this one.
