Oklahoma St. Cowboys at Oklahoma Sooners 9:00 pm EST

    Oklahoma +1 (2 Units)

The Sooners have rebounded nicely since their loss at Texas last Sunday by blowing away Texas Tech and winning at Texas A&M over the weekend. The win over the Aggies was a tight one but in the end it could be a very big one. "Of all the wins we've had this year, the game I'm most proud of is this one," OU coach Kelvin Sampson said. "When we got down 70-67, I found out more about our team and how big their hearts are.” Oklahoma is 10-1 at home this season, a loss to Missouri being their only setback. They have a stifling defense at home, allowing only 38.2% from the floor and 52.7 ppg. The Cowboys still shoot the ball well on the road and it’s interesting to note that their shooting percentages have increased in each of their last 5 road games, peaking at 63% in their last game at Iowa St. What this means is that they are apt to come back to earth as they have peaked as far as they can go. The home team has won the last 7 meetings including an Oklahoma St. throttling by 21 earlier this season to begin their current 9-game win streak and this is a game the Sooners circled after that defeat. The Sooners shot 35.2% from the field and committed 20 turnovers which is their most since March 11, 2000. The Cowboys have held a team to shooting that low only once since and that was against lowly Baylor. Even with the Baylor game included, they are allowing 42.4% shooting their last 8 games. The Sooners are on a 6-1 ATS run since their 4 game losing streak was snapped.
