Houston Rockets at Phoenix Suns 9:00 pm EST

    Houston –3.5 (2 units)

The Rockets look to rebound from their 3-game losing skid when they visit Phoenix who returns home after dropping 6 of their last 7 games. Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy said he never had gone through a week of negligent practices and games like the one that brought the Rockets their three consecutive losses. He questioned the teams’ heart and made it public, something that the players weren’t big on but it is now something they will change. “The attitude is always the first thing to go and the first thing that will bring you back.” Van Gundy said. "Of course it was offensive," Rockets forward Maurice Taylor said. "If anybody says you lost your heart, it means you gave up and quit, and I don't think we did. I don't think we played well. We could have had more fight. But to question someone's heart is to question their character. I find it offensive. But it definitely makes you look in the mirror.” The Rockets are 17-2 this season when shooting 45% or better from the field and 9-18 when failing to reach this mark. Phoenix has giving up that shooting in 4 of their last 7 games. Phoenix is 4-3 ATS as a home dog but just 2-7 SU as they are 1-2 ATS when getting 4 or less points. Houston is 12-7 ATS this season against sub-.500 teams.
