2 NFL playoff games this week, the winner of the Indy/NE game and the totals in the SF/Car game. Basketball is well under way, 3-1 so far this week.. Excellent season with the free plays at 67% (35-17)

Indianapolis vs NE
PLAY ON: Under 53
It is tough to go with unders with a team like the Colts. But the number is high enough in this game. Both run the ball well at 4.4 ypc, and both have trouble stopping the run, giving up 4.5 ypc. Look for the Patriots to run the ball early in this game. Neither team is what what I would call a big play passing team, and the weather should help minimize the few that are there to be made. Both teams struggle converting 3rd downs at less than 38%. The Patriot struggles defending 3rd down at 42% is a concern, but the Colts are a different team outdoors, and they are coming off that big emotional comeback win last week.

Play On: Carolina +1
Everyone in the world is on the 49ers, which is reason enough to take Carolina. SF is in the rare spot of being a road favorite in back to back playoff games. Problem is, it is their 3rd straight road game and they have to travel cros country to face the Panthers, who are coming off a bye. 2 things I like about the Panthers: they are the better red zone team and they convert 3rd downs at 44%.
