BYU vs. Notre Dame
PLAY ON: Notre Dame +1
Senior day for the Fighting Irish, who also come in off the bye. It has been a somewhat disappointing season for Notre Dame, so look for a big effort here prior to the finale against Stanford. The front 7 is still pretty good, even without DT Nix, and the Irish have shown the ability to hit some plays in the passing game, at 8.0 ypa. Meanwhile, BYU is already locked into a bowl game, so the motivation may be lacking. I am sure they will get up to play Notre Dame, but if they get off to a poor start, I can see them packing it in, especially since they don't convert 3rd downs very well at 35%.

NY Jets vs. Baltimore
PLAY ON: Baltimore -3.5
The Ravens come home after a tough loss at Chicago. Pretty much every game from here on out is a playoff game for the defending Super Bowl Champions. I had this team as a disappointment at the beginning of the season, and it looks like I will be proven correct. But I think they win this game at home against a struggling NY Jet rookie QB who can't stop turning the ball over and realizes these are Big 12 defenses where tackling is optional that he is facing. The Raven running game finally showed a pulse last weekend. The Ravens are the better team in the red zone and make fewer mistakes. Lay the points with the home team.
