Rice vs Texas AM
PLAY ON: Rice +27
Look for SEC lines to be inflated early on this season. Texas AM is a team the media loves, mainly because they score a bunch of points and have a flamboyant QB, who happened to win the Heisman last season. But I look for this team to be one of the bigger disappointments in 2013. Only 11 (6 5) starters are back, and unlike last season, there are major expectations for this team in 2013. It is a whole different bowl of wax being the hunted instead of coming out of nowhere as the huntee. I am not sold this team can handle that label. Rice has a chance to win C-USA this season, albeit a watered down version. They have 17 starters (7 10) back. and they should be able to move the ball on the AM defense. Don't be surprised if this team scores 4 TD's in this game. Granted they will probably give up 6 or 7 since their defense is weak, 4TD's is way too much to lay to a team with the firepower on offense the Owls have. If their defense was a little better, this game would have been a play.
