Iona vs Manhattan
PLAY ON: Manhattan +2.5
It has been a disappointing season thus far for Manhattan, as they were the preseason favorites after qualifying for the NCAA Tournament last season. They are starting to show signs of life as they prepare for the conference tournament, winners of their last three games. This is a rematch from 1/6/13 that saw Iona win at home, so its payback time. Over the past five games, they are are pretty even statistically, shooting 46% from the floor, though the Jaspers are hitting 40% from three. Defensively, Manahattan has picked up the defense, giving up only 34% from the floor vs 42% for Iona. Two things are keeping this from being a play: Manhattans poor FT shooting and the edge Iona enjoys on the boards.
