    Alabama vs Notre Dame
    PLAY ON: Notre Dame +9.5

In terms of brand identity, it doesn't get any bigger than this matchup. Both teams are here for the same reason: grown man football. No gimmicky offenses, trickeration, or anythng like that. It goes to prove that to win championships, and wagers on sporting events, you do it with defense and imposing your will on the opponent. Although both are known for their defenses, the offenses have played well all season and they don't beat themselves with mistakes. An excellent recipe for winning consistently. Statistically, the teams are pretty evenly matched, though the Tide has the edge in most caegories. They do have the big edge in the passing game, averaging 9.3 YPA to 7.5 YPA for the Irish. This game will come down to two things:

    1. Can Notre Dame handle the big game pressure? You may be asking yourself why would someone ask this question? Afterall, there is pressure at Notre Dame by nature. True. But it is a different pressure. All the marbles are on the line, in a mega spotlight, and every kid on this team has never faced it. The Crimson Tide has. That is the main reason the line is so big.

    2. Can Notre Dame take the punches to the mouth for an entire 60 minutes. You may be saying to yourself that they can by the nature of their style and the teams they have played. True again. But that was against middle weights. They are playing a super heavyweight in this game. The punches are a little harder. Many teams have hung for 30, even 45 Minutes with Alabama. But those last 15 minutes are the ones that break your will

We think that Notre Dame will be able to hang and play well in this game. Don't know if they can win without some help from Alabama, but they can surely keep it under double digits. Small lean on the Irish.
