Oregon vs Kansas St
PLAY ON: Kansas St +9.5
For a while towards the end of the season, this looked like a matchup for the BCS Championship. Never the less, they meet up anyway, in a game matching contrasting styles. Oregon had difficulty matching up against physical teams (see Stanford). Kansas St had difficulty with speedy teams (see Baylor). The Oregon running game was subpar to finsih the season, even though it averaged 6 YPC and gave up 4 YPC. They are solid in the passing game, and on 3rd down, converting 47.7% and only giving up 33.5%. Kansas St fizzled on both sides of the ball down the stretch. They were fine converting 3rd down at 51%, but iffy defending it, giving up 45%. But they are a very well coached team. They don't beat themselves with mistakes. Bill Snyder is excellent at getting alot with little. Imaging what he could do at USC, who seem to get so little with alot. We will put a small lean to Kansas St plus the points.
